Two late goals in two minutes by Nyron Nosworthy and Anthony Stokes saw Sunderland claim a 3-1 win over Sporting Lisbon on a night which saw Roy Keane and striker Michael Chopra both sent off.
Nosworthy had headed the Black Cats into the lead with his first goal for the club after 84 minutes before Stokes sealed victory with a shot from 10 yards a minute later.
