Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri insists he would be happy to see Tiago remain at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Bianconeri revealed last week that Tiago had refused an offer to join Everton on a year-long loan deal after the clubs reached an agreement over the Portugal midfielder.
Juve are reportedly keen to offload the 27-year-old to raise funds for more signings but Ranieri claims he would have no problem in having Tiago in his squad next season.
"Tiago is a wonderful lad, an exemplary professional, and if he remains I would happily accept it," he told Rai Sport. "September is a few days away thankfully and the transfer window will close.
"Has he asked to speak to me? He hasn't spoken to me about these things, he talks with the club about it.
"He knows that I rate him and he is improving."
Tiago joined Juve for 13 million euros in June 2007 but was a bit-part player in his first season in Serie A.
He has also been left out of Ranieri's squad for the second leg of their Champions League qualifier against Artmedia Bratislava on Tuesday.
