Shaun Maloney has shrugged off a knock to be ready for Celtic. First-choice strikers Scott McDonald and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, however, remain doubts.
McDonald missed last week's 3-0 win over Falkirk with a groin injury, while the Dutchman was stretchered off with a leg injury which required stitches. Defender Gary Caldwell should return after recovering from a thigh injury.
Rangers midfielder Lee McCulloch has been ruled out with a knee ligament injury.
Manager Walter Smith will also make a late decision on Maurice Edu's involvement after his delayed arrival from Canada. The United States international was only able to participate in a light training session on Friday morning but his fitness will be assessed over the weekend.
