Midfielder Lucas Leiva believes Liverpool are now capable of beating anybody as they target the Premier League title.
The Brazilian also admits the Reds' away form will be crucial in the second half of the season.
Lucas, in line to replace the injured Xabi Alonso for the trip to Stoke on Saturday, has been part of a squad which has won seven out of their 10 league games away from Anfield.
Another win at the Britannia Stadium would see the Reds go six points clear at the summit ahead of Chelsea's clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
"Each point will be really important for us in the race for the title," the Brazilian told Liverpool's official website.
"We have confidence and we have quality. We are producing some good performances and we are playing well as a team. We feel we can beat anyone.
"Liverpool have waited a long time to win the Premier League title and now we have a chance to win it.
"Christmas was a crucial time for us with a lot of games in a row but we got a lot of points which was good.
"If we can win on Saturday we can relax and then see what happens in the other game."
Lucas also revealed the Reds have been working on tactics in training to combat Rory Delap's long throws.
"We know they are a physical team to play against and they have a real threat from long throw-ins, which is always dangerous," he said.
"During the training sessions we have been working at defending from long throw-ins so we have to be ready.
"When I was back in Brazil I saw players with long throws but they didn't throw it as far as Stoke can."

"Battle for fourth not so good at the moment, but we should be alright. Would be nice not to be battling for fourth at all, mind you. And I'd love to have Alonso, especially if we're sniffing around Arshavin instead. Keep you tight little panties on, Puddie."

"gg1987 - I stand corrected, so people in glass houses CAN throw stones after all. Tell me, how is your battle with Villa for 4th place going? Still sniffing around our Alonso? Admit it you'd have him in a heartbeat. Top of the league and never the victims, just Top of the League and loving it."

"el_nino, i'l read all the Liverpool stories i want, thank you, i'm a Liverpool fan. just irks that all our stories are open for comments, even non stories such as this, for people to start with the 'pool/scouse bashing which can quite often get nasty. there is no need to have this story open, but it is. it's not even an interesting story. but then, theres the opportunity to comment, so it could get interesting......."

"Said it on another story already but I hope Lucas keeps on showing his recent signs of improvement. Hopefully this will also get a segment of the Anfield support off his back, it's ironic because had it been Alonso who played the pin-point pass for Gerrard to score his 2nd goal against Newcastle, the same fans would have been fawning over Alonso for weeks. As for Stoke, I hope to God that they actually try and play football this time around, and not park the bus in front of goal like they did at Anfield earlier this season."
