Carlo Ancelotti will announce his departure for Chelsea after this weekend's Serie A games, according to reports in Italy.
Corriere dello Sport claim that Ancelotti will publicly accept Chelsea's offer of a four-year contract after Milan have clinched a Champions League place for next season.
Ancelotti is said to have signed a pre-contract agreement with the Blues on a four-year deal worth over £100,000 a week.
He is already said to have handed Chelsea a list of summer targets that includes erstwhile Milan target Emmanuel Adebayor as a replacement for Didier Drogba.

"Jo_Mama. I refuse to be drawn into a discussion about Rangers, I know we're rubbish, that has nothing to do with a story about Chelsea though. To say that you have no right to comment on a story due to the fact that you support an inferior club is ludicrous. It's my opinion and I will voice it whether I support Rangers or Dagenham and Redbridge. You have, however, just proved my point, you have nothing valid or constructive to say. My summation of Chelsea is not up for debate, it's fact, they have, since Red Rom took over done exactly what I previously stated. The way the club has been run over the past few years have turned Chelsea into a laughing stock, saying Ranieri would keep his job and then they sacked him, the same happened with Grant and Scolari and lets not forget the funniest decision of all which was the sacking of Mourinho. How many managers have Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal had in the last ten years? Exactly."

"Jo_Mama - Yes, Roman should just offer Guus enough dosh to keep him. Since his arrival, we have tightened up at the back considerably. And the tactics are varied to suit the opposition, instead of Plan A - then ......... nothing, once the opponents have sussed it out! If not Guus, then someone who will be bold in his selection and signings, and give the youngsters a proper chance."

"I just hope he hangs around for a bit longer than Scolari or we'll end up with another caretaker whilst we wait for the return of Guus.
Ray Wilkins in the latter stages of the Champions League? Smashing Ralph."

"...and a Rangers fan talking about sustainability is just ludicrous. Guess you are just a tiny bit bitter that your once fantastic team is now an utter shower of sh*t. I wouldn't be happy either."

"gers_jamie - what its got to do with it, is that when you support a team who competes in a league that only actually has 2 teams in it, and still hasnt won it in 4 years, i dont really think you have right to call far more successful clubs "ongoing comedy sagas" - ESPECIALLY with the recent history of managers & instability you have had! Black kettles & pots are springing to mind. And success cant just be bought - ask any scouser!"

"Jo_Mama! Yeah, big deal, I'm a Rangers fan. What have Rangers got to do with a story about Ancelotti? Bringing my team into it just tells me that you couldn't think of anything constructive to respond with. Chelsea are just a modern day Blackburn but instead of good ol' Jack Walker you lot have been stuck with an unstable (and slightly gay looking) Russian gantster who has proved once and for all that success can be bought, but without an established hierarchy who know the club inside out it cannot be sustained."

"Rico - he's only 49....hardly an old man. Think Abramovich should just offer Guus 1 gazillion euros a season to stay."

"this is a real bad move.
however i have no clue as to who whould be better. save guss of course.
why do we need another old man as well.
pep is doing a stirling job at barca."

"....says a Rangers fan?!?! :)"

"Ah, another chapter in the on going comedy saga that is Chelsea F.C. Hire a manager, demand he wins the league at the first attempt then sack him when he fails. Repeat as needed."
