Emmanuel Eboue's agent believes the Arsenal defender will remain at the Emirates Stadium unless an offer from a big club comes in.
Eboue revealed on Tuesday that he has grown frustrated by his failure to hold down a regular starting spot in Arsene Wenger's team last season and could head for the exit in search of better opportunities.
Reports in Italy suggest Fiorentina and Roma are preparing bids for the Ivory Coast international, while it could also reignite Inter Milan's interest as the Nerazzurri have long been linked with the 26-year-old.
However, Franjo Vranjkovic believes his client could be prepared to sign a new deal at the Gunners.
"Arsenal offered us a contract extension, proposing to us a four-year deal," he told Calciomercato.it. "Emmanuel could free himself soon as at zero cost, but Wenger's offers is very good.
"The player likes the way Arsenal plays.
"I honestly think that Fiorentina and Roma aren't at Eboue's level. The two clubs are not among the top ones in Italy, that's the reality of it. But if any of the Milan clubs or Juventus come after him, that could change things.
"Inter have never contacted us but if they should call us we would be in Italy without any problems. But no one has called me."
Eboue moved to Arsenal from Beveren in January 2005 and became a first-team regular in the second half of the following season.
However, inconsistent form has seen him overtaken by Bacary Sagna and Theo Walcott in the pecking order.
He was booed by the Gunners fans back in December after coming off the bench against Wigan and was himself substituted but Vranjkovic insists he still has a great rapport with the Emirates faithful.
"I repeat that the player has a great relationship with Wenger, he's one of his fans," he added. "There's no problems with the fans either.
"It's normal that people create great stories about great players but there is absolutely no friction with the Gunners supporters."
(re-opens) Eboue has, meanwhile, always expressed his desire to stay at Emirates Stadium as Wenger looks to build a side capable of challenging for trophies once again.
It is understood the Ivory Coast defender, who played in the 2006 Champions League final, still has several years of his current contract to run which was signed in 2007, and as such would not be able to buy out of any deal as suggested.
