Derby County's Australian striker Mile Sterjovski insists he has no fears about his future at the resurgent Championship outfit.
Sterjovski has not figured for the Rams so far this season and is currently away on international duty with Australia.
The Socceroos play a vital World Cup qualifier against Qatar in Brisbane on Wednesday and Sterjovski is hoping to help his country to victory and then muscle his way into Paul Jewell's side.
"Everybody would like to play football but at the moment I'm in a difficult situation," he told the Derby Telegraph.
"I've spoken to the coach at Derby and he's assured me that I'm in his plans and an important player in the team - and that it won't be long until I start playing again.
"I have confidence in my ability and I know I'm a good player. My time will come."
