Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds are both chasing Sunderland striker Anthony Stokes who will be allowed to go out on loan.
Stokes is unlikely to be given many opportunities at the Stadium of Light following the arrivals of Djibril Cisse and David Healy, but Roy Keane would like him to play regular football.
"Anthony would benefit from going out and getting 20 games," Keane added in the News of the World.
"He's good enough to go and play in the Championship."
