Accrington duo Phil Edwards and Ian Dunbavin have signed new one-year deals at the club.
Former Wigan defender Edwards, 22 - who won the players' player of the year award - was one of last season's stand-out performers and attracted the interest of Championship sides Burnley and Preston.
Ex-Liverpool trainee goalkeeper Dunbavin, meanwhile, played 25 games for the Reds last season after first choice Kenny Arthur broke his leg.
Coleman told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I spoke to them both towards the end of last season and we just had to iron out a few minor details.
"It's good to have finally settled them and we can now look to the future."
