PSV Eindhoven have confirmed they are preparing a bid for Sochaux striker Mevlut Erding.
PSV director Jan Reker and technical manager Adrie van Kraaij visited France at the weekend and watched the 21-year-old score a header in Sochaux's 2-1 defeat to Grenoble.
"We must have a look at how we will do this but we will most certainly follow it up," Van Kraaij told AD Sportwereld.
"Erding confirmed the impression we had of him. He has fast acceleration and has good movement.
"(Sochaux) didn't say that they wanted to sell but they do know now what we want."
