Lille coach Rudi Garcia believes his players will be out for revenge at point-less Grenoble on Saturday as they aim to get over the disappointment of defeat at Auxerre.
Losc returned from Auxerre empty-handed after seeing their opponents come from a goal down to triumph in the final 12 minutes.
And Garcia hopes Grenoble pay the price for that late defensive lapse.
"We obviously hope that Grenoble start picking up points only after our match," he said. "We owe ourselves revenge after our defeat in Bourgogne.
"Let us show from Saturday that we wish to start again our march forwards.
"What happened to us at Auxerre is almost a new phenomenon and we'll put it down to an accident, hoping that we have taken the lessons from that terrible scenario.
"We're not denigrating either Auxerre's reaction. Auxerre, who are talented, also pressed forwards. Despite everything, it is unacceptable that we didn't come back with at least a point after such a performance."
Lille will be boosted by the return of Mickael Landreau and Garcia has confirmed that the goalkeeper, who has been out injured since July just days after signing from Paris St Germain, will make his debut on Saturday.
Nicolas Plestan is sidelined and Tulio De Melo remains a doubt.
Grenoble are still battling valiantly in search of their first point and would have got it last week were it not for an own goal and conceding a last-gasp penalty to Nancy.
Despite 10 consecutive defeats and the worst start to the league ever, assistant coach Stephane Gilli insists they have not let their heads drop.
"We will continue with the same desire match after match," he said. "We don't have the right to give up.
"For the club, for the supporters, for all the season-ticket holders who continue to encourage us, we will remain hopeful."
However, the strugglers have been hit by the news captain Laurent Batlles will be out for a month after breaking two ribs last week.
The skipper and Nicolas Dieuze have joined an already lengthy injury-list which includes Zoran Rendulic, Yoric Ravet, Milivoje Vitakic, Josip Tadic, Sandy Paillot and Sofiane Feghouli.
