Hertha Berlin striker Andriy Voronin has promised to make amends for his recent three-game suspension when he returns to Eredivisie action against Bochum.
The Ukraine international, who has scored 11 goals this season, is expected to feature as third-placed Hertha try to cut the four-point gap to leaders Wolfsburg.
Voronin admitted his recent absence following his red card against Hannover last month has provided him with extra motivation in the final games of the season.
"I have something to make up for," he told kicker magazine.
"If we win the four remaining games, we will be champions.
"With their schedule, Wolfsburg could lose three more matches."
The on-loan Liverpool striker is expected to replace Marko Pantelic in the starting line-up, although the latter is convinced the two would form a deadly partnership.
"I don't see any reason why we should not be playing together," Pantelic said.
"We have temper and character and can carry a team."
Bochum coach Marcel Koller would be thrilled to have opposite number Lucien Favre's selection problems as his two top strikers, Stanislav Sestak and Diego Klimowicz, are expected to miss the game due to groin problems.
Christian Fuchs, Oliver Schroder (both unfit) and Shinji Ono (knee) are also out.
The 14th-placed visitors are in need of a win after seeing the gap between themselves and the drop zone cut to just two points.
"It will be a tough match," Koller said. "Berlin do not need many chances to score.
"They are in front of the goal two or three times and score two goals."
Hertha will be without Arne Friedrich, Christian Fiedler, Leonardo Cufre (all knee), Gojko Kacar (banned), Sofian Chahed, Fabian Lustenberger (both unfit) and Maximilian Nicu (ankle).
