FC Twente goalkeeper Sander Boschker does not believe his side's chances of beating Ajax in the Champions League play-off are hindered by playing away from their usual home ground.
The Arke Stadium in Enschede is being renovated so the first leg will instead be played in Emmen on Saturday, but Boschker is confident the club's fans will offer vocal support, as they did in the first round of play-offs against NAC Breda.
"We were pleased with playing at the stadium in Emmen," he said. "Although it was not sold out against NAC, the atmosphere was great. I hope our fans create the same again."
Boschker believes Ajax, who finished second in the Eredivisie, will pose a tough test but is confident Twente are in good enough form to cope with them.
"You always have to be very concentrated and alert against Ajax," he said.
"Besides a lot of quality they have players who can score out of nothing. Ajax will be favourites but the pressure is on them.
"We know we can write history for the club in these matches. We are in good shape and since February we have only lost a few points.
"We have scored a lot of goals and in defence we are strong."
Ajax coach Adrie Koster is expecting an exciting, open game between two sides who know all about each other's strengths and weaknesses.
"Ajax and FC Twente normally play on the attack and want to play football so I expect a fun and interesting match. We don't have many secrets from each other.
"Everybody realises what it's about in the next two games."
Defender Thomas Vermaelen will play no further part this season as he has a groin injury and Sammy Kuffour has returned to Ghana for personal reasons.
Gregory van der Wiel (knee) and Laurent Delorge (Achilles) are also both still out but Edgar Davids and Luis Suarez are fit.
Twente coach Fred Rutten has a fully-fit squad at his disposal.
