FC Volendam will continue their search for their first points of the season against high-flying NAC Breda on Sunday.
Volendam impressed last week, but came away with nothing more than compliments from a 1-0 loss at PSV Eindhoven.
The task gets no easier this weekend as they face Robert Maaskant's team, who are off to another strong start and lie third in the table.
"They are a very experienced team," said Volendam coach Frans Adelaar. "They have a good defence and very skilled strikers. We need to have a good day and we must hope they have an off-day for us to beat them."
Adelaar is planning to field a more defensive-minded team this weekend, and will keep youngster Hamid Yildiz in the line-up.
Arvid Smit, Gerry Koning and Tim Bakens are back in training after injury, but Adelaar has decided to leave Smit out for at least another week while he will not risk Koning if he appears less than fully fit.
NAC travel to Volendam with three wins from their first four games, and Maaskant has been further boosted by the virtual emptying of the club's treatment room in recent days.
"All our players are now fit," he said. "It does not mean that everybody is 100 per cent though, because during a season there always are players with little injuries and complaints. But the heavy injuries are behind us."
The problem now is selection headaches for Maaskant.
"I don't mind", he said. "Players select themselves, by training well and playing well with the first and the second team."
That includes captain Edwin de Graaf, who has been told to earn a recall to the first team.
"The fact that he is the captain of the team means nothing in terms of playing games," Maaskant said. "He will have to deserve a place on the bench and after that in the team."
Edinho Pattinama (shoulder) and Rafael Pollack (calf) will miss out.
