Laryea Kingston has reiterated his desire to move to the Barclays Premier League - but knows he must break back into the Hearts team first.
Ghana midfielder Kingston insists he would happily stay at Tynecastle next term, though he still dreams of playing in England.
The 28-year-old has endured an injury-blighted 2009 and has not started a first-team game since January 3.
But he is back to full fitness and determined to play a part in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League run-in.
"It has been a frustrating season - the worst of my career," said Kingston, who has one year left on his hearts deal and who was linked with moves to Portsmouth and Bolton in January.
"I want to play in all five games and be fit for next season. I'm happy here.
"But in January I had a lot of options down south and it was quite disappointing when I picked up an injury.
"I had three or four offers to go to the Premier League and one from Germany as well.
"They are waiting to see if I'm back on the pitch. Every player has an ambition to play in the Premier League. It's the best league in the world."
