The 19-year-old midfielder was named Wimbledon's young player of the year following Saturday's 3-1 win against Shrewsbury.

"To be picked as the young player of the year is a great honour for me," he told the club website.

"But it is all down to the players and staff here who have helped me every day in training. They have helped through a few personal things and to settle in well. I have also been allowed the freedom to play my football.

"I would consider coming back as it is a great club with great fans. I will be looking to go out on loan again as I do not want to go back to playing reserve-team football.

"But I will have to speak to the gaffer and the staff at Sunderland first when I go back there."
