N'Diaye left the Stadium of Light on a season-long agreement over the summer, with former Black Cats boss Paolo Di Canio packing him off to Eskisehirspor.

Danny Graham was also deemed surplus to requirements, allowing him to seal a switch to Premier League new boys Hull City.

It is unlikely that he will be drafted back into Poyet's plans after failing to find the target for the Tigers, but N'Diaye has impressed in Turkey and earned himself an international recall with Senegal.

Any return to Wearside would have financial implications, but Poyet is planning to hold talks with director of football Roberto De Fanti regarding the loanees and the nine players on his books who will see their contracts expire at the end of the season.

He told the Sunderland Echo: "I think we will consider everything. I like to have everything on the table - my ideas, my reports, what I think about every single player.

"If I think we need to change something, whatever it is, we need to know what it is so they can start looking for it.

"If the option is bringing back someone from loan, then that is easier. And sometimes there are players who are not happy and they want to move.

"So you put everything on the table and then make a decision. That's a part I love because, for me, it's the key."

Sunderland drafted in 14 fresh faces during a busy summer transfer window and Poyet admits he will be working with new chief scout Valentino Angeloni in an effort to identify further reinforcements.

He added: "When you recruit players and bring players in who really do what you want, for the manager it's easier.

"So the better we recruit, the easier it is for me. And I'm going to do everything I can to make it easier.

"It's difficult enough so far so I don't want to make it even more difficult.

"I'm going to do my part and give a physical, mental and technical report on the players we've got and what I need."

ood lord that's got me unnecessarily excited. Damn you Storey. Cut to Liverpool being crushed under the wheels of Sparky's Stoke Machine and Firmino brought off the bench to no effect. It's the hope that kills you.

think he'll do quite well. My only reservation would be Kagawa, who had similar stats to Firmino in the bundesliga before he came, but time will tell.
