Mandron, 19, was due to remain at Highbury for the remainder of the campaign yet after scoring just once in 13 appearances, he is now back in the north east.

Boss Graham Alexander has not included Mandron in his squad for the Cod Army's previous two fixtures.

The ex-Burnley defender signed Preston's Iain Hume recently while David Ball is fit again following an ankle problem meaning he is blessed with options up top as it is.
