Swansea City will start the new Premier League season by welcoming defending champions Manchester United to the Liberty Stadium.

David Moyes will begin his tenure as United boss in South Wales and Michael Laudrup will hope to make it an unhappy opener for him on 17 August.

Swansea will also welcome former boss Brendan Rodgers and Liverpool on 14th September before a much-anticipated Welsh derby at Cardiff City in November.

Boxing Day sees Swansea face a tough game at Jose Mourinho's Chelsea and it does not get any easier when they host Manchester City on New Year's Day.

Cardiff then visit Swansea on 8 February in what is bound to be a fiercely fought encounter against last season's Championship winners.

Swansea end the season on 11th May at Sunderland.
