Can we look to Ronaldo's ego to solve the global energy crisis and reliance on fossil fuels? Perhaps, although there will be similar fears that tarnish nuclear power - that a vast explosion from deep within Ronaldo could yet be the end of us all. OOOH MATRON

As that picture shows, Ronaldo can only take 'selfies'.

See you just proved my point. You spending all day everyday refreshing comments pages to find friends. Mate you are trying too hard just be yourself. No need to try and be some internet clown to get attention. I hope you are more relaxed in person and enjoy your pint of bitter!!

Socialising and interpersonal advice from a miserable Liverpool fan that references Eastenders with his analogies. Wow. What a world we live in. With all that available why would ANYONE want to leave the internet, ever. I jest of course @keashred, just the merest whiff of your relentless pessimism makes me appreciate a sociable pint at the end of the day, probably about the time when you would be watching Eastenders, constructing harshly worded letters to Points of View about how humour has no place in soap operas. You and jd.quench should Skype each other when its on, misery loves company, you two seem a perfect match.

I'd be amazed if any England manager bins Rooney by the next world cup, whether we're in it or not. Unless we get an absolute stack of amazing players before Russia or Rooney goes to jail or someting

Hump3 when will you realise your weak attempts at humour just make you look like the Ian Beale of the site? It seems you spend all day scanning the comments sections to see if anyone will interact with you. Mate try and get some real life experiences maybe even talk to real people face to face.

I'm hoping Portugal don't make it past the group stages - I just can't bear to watch that posturing, egotistical tool parading around a football pitch.

If I had an 'Editor Review' facility to give the work and performance appraisals I do the once over before I sent them, I'd probably be Chief Executive.

e made his power play to try and get Sheikhy to raise his wages or trade him to PSG. PSG were probably not interested and he is stuck with no cake and no vacation. @Jay_D> Surely you jest about FFP being real, right? All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
