Michael Dawson: Keen to get back to winning ways

Spurs central defender Dawson is preparing to make his return from a hamstring injury suffered in the victory over Fulham recently.

He missed Spurs' 2-1 defeat at Goodison Park but looks likely to be available for Sunday's Premier League home game against the Swans.

The manner of the defeat on Merseyside, where Everton scored two last-gasp goals, caused great frustration within the Tottenham camp, but Dawson is sure his team can respond with a win over the Swans.

"It's always tough against Swansea, but we have to pick ourselves up after the Everton defeat," Dawson told Tottenham's official website.

"We'd been on a brilliant run with brilliant performances and that was a little setback.

"But we will pick ourselves up and try to get back to winning ways back at White Hart Lane. We're confident we can beat anyone at home."
