Cody Cropper has revealed his disappointment at being told he will not be getting a new contract at Ipswich but has set his sights on a move elsewhere.

The US goalkeeper is approaching the end of his one-year deal at Portman Road and manager Paul Jewell has opted not to offer the 19-year-old fresh terms for next season.

Cropper, an Academy graduate, has failed to make a senior appearance during a campaign in which Town have used a total of four stoppers, appearing only as an unused substitute three times.

Using Twitter, Cropper wrote: "It's honestly so depressing but at the same time it's good to know that I can move on to bigger and better things."
