Steve Clarke is hoping to keep Glenn Murray at Reading after his loan deal expired following the 2-1 win over Norwich.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp admitted he needs to strengthen his squad after his side's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
Leeds striker Danny Webber does not hold out much hope for his future at Elland Road following the expiry of his short-term contract.
Webber, 30, scored his first goal for Leeds in their last-day defeat at home against Leicester. It was the former Sheffield United and Portsmouth forward's first goal in over two years.
Leeds manager Neil Warnock has said he will speak to his players on Wednesday before announcing his retained list and Webber said: "We'll have a talk and see where it's at, whether my future's here or somewhere else.
"I've enjoyed being here, but it's whether I'm in the gaffer's plans. It's down to him to decide whether he's got people here he thinks he can get more out of or whether he needs new faces to freshen it up.
"I suspect it's the latter and normally with the gaffer's teams they're fighting for promotion, which is what everyone wants here."
Webber, who has made 13 appearances since arriving at Leeds in early March, added on the club's official website: "It was nice to finish with a goal, although I would have liked to have sealed it with a win."
