Inverness goalkeeper Ryan Esson insists he does not want to leave to the club and hopes he will be offered a new contract.
Esson is one of 12 first-team players whose deals expire at the end of the season, and although his agent has held talks with manager Terry Butcher, nothing has yet been finalised.
"I want to stay," Esson told the Inverness Courier. "I like the direction that the club is going in.
"This season, we had a big turnover of players, but sometimes you have to do that. It's just the nature of football.

Esson has made 140 appearances for Caley since joining on a free transfer from Hereford in 2008.
