Neil Warnock: Huge admirer of Clint Hill

Leeds boss Neil Warnock has hinted he could make a move for Queens Park Rangers defender Clint Hill.

Hill is thought to be on Warnock's wanted list as he looks to rebuild the squad at Elland Road this summer.

Warnock is a big admirer of versatile stopper Hill having worked with him during his time in charge of QPR and he has refused to rule out a move for his former charge.

"There are a number of players if you look at the Bosman list, in particular three or four players on Bosmans, that have got experience and Clint is one of those as well," Warnock told Sky Sports News.

"I am sure he will be inundated with club's if that's the situation.

"He had a very good season. He came into the team at the end of the season and I think he has held them [QPR] together.

"He's a very good player and like anything else we are looking for good players and I think everybody is."

Warnock has only brought in one new face since the end of the Championship season in the shape of Jason Pearce from Portsmouth, but he hopes to add to that over the next week with a couple more additions.

"There is no movement on anything at the minute," added Warnock. "We managed to get one in and we are discussing quite a number of targets at the moment.

"It is such a long summer we have got three months and all clubs are wary of doing too much early on, but definitely we would like to sign another one or two in the next seven days."
