Facundo Roncaglia: Signs a three-year de

Fiorentina have signed Argentinian defender Facundo Roncaglia.

The 25-year-old became a free agent after his contract with Boca Juniors expired last month and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Tuscan club.

A statement from Fiorentina read: "Fiorentina announces the signing of Facundo Roncaglia.

"Roncaglia, a naturalised Italian, played last season with Boca Juniors."

This will be Roncaglia's second spell in Europe having played on loan at Spanish side Espanyol in the 2009-10 campaign.

Roncaglia becomes Fiorentina's second signing this week following the arrival of Moroccan striker Mounir El Hamdaoui from Ajax.
