Clint Dempsey: Dropped again by Martin J

Clint Dempsey will once again be missing from Fulham's squad when they travel to Old Trafford for Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Dempsey has been dropped by Cottagers boss Martin Jol after agitating for a move to Liverpool, missing last weekend's 5-0 rout of Norwich.

The Reds have expressed an interest in signing the £7.5million-rated American forward, but have yet to table an offer, leaving player and club in limbo.

Jol is frustrated by Liverpool's conduct and feels a distracted Dempsey is unfit to play once more.

"It's the same situation. There has been no formal bid on the table and nothing has changed," Jol said.
