Ince: In fine form for Blackpool

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway claims Tom Ince would feature regularly for the England senior team if he were plying his trade in the Premier League.

Ince has played a starring role for the Tangerines in the opening weeks of the npower Championship season and has been the subject of much transfer speculation.

He was recently called up to Stuart Pearce's Under-21 side but Holloway thinks the 20-year-old is good enough for the full squad and compares favourably with Arsenal duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott.

"At the moment he has just got into the England Under-21 set-up and rightly so," said the Bloomfield Road boss.

"He has been absolutely unplayable for us and has been outstanding in such a short period of time.

"I don't think the other two flying wingers [Oxlade-Chamberlain and Walcott] are any better than him.

"It is because they play for Arsenal. Incey has been creating and scoring. In other words, if Arsene Wenger bought him, he'd be good enough to start for England.

"Does that mean I don't know what I'm on about? Or we are not a big enough club to play for? It doesn't matter about that.

"I believe the boy will be a top, top player. He has everything, including the right temperament.

"I can see him donning any of those shirts [Arsenal and England] and becoming a star - it is only a matter of time."

Holloway added: "You can count on one hand the number of Championship players who have played for England. He has only just got into the Under-21s.

"Lord knows what he could do with an England shirt on his back now. His end product is absolutely top, top drawer.

"There are some good players in this division and they could walk into the England side if they were given a chance."
