Alex MacDonald: Loan spell extended

Burnley forward Alex MacDonald has extended his loan spell with Plymouth.

The Scotland Under-21 international spent time at Home Park last season and returned for a second stint at the end of August.

MacDonald's deal will now run for the maximum time allowed under the emergency loan system, keeping him with the npower League Two outfit until the first week of December.

In the current campaign MacDonald has scored once in eight appearances for Argyle.
