Chris Iwelumo: Expects to leave Watford

Chris Iwelumo has admitted his future lies away from Vicarage Road.

The Watford striker, who is currently on loan at npower League One outfit Notts County, is expected to leave Gianfranco Zola's club for good in the transfer window next month.

"I think I will probably be moving in January, permanently, so I have got to make sure I keep my head down and do what I can for Notts," he told the Football league Paper.

"If I can deliver and something can get done then we will see what happens from there.

"My gut feeling is that there's not much there for me at Watford."

The 34-year-old has yet to score in his three appearances for Notts County and his spell at Meadow Lane comes to an end on January 1.

He has scored five goals in 47 appearances for the Hornets since joining in 2011.
