Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has defended his decision to send striker Darren Bent out on loan to Brighton.
Tranmere chairman Mark Palios claims to have turned down the chance to sign Ched Evans.
Austin secured a point from the penalty spot against Watford at the weekend to register his 22nd goal of the season, but Clarets boss Dyche insists he is unconcerned about the transfer window reopening.
"It's the reality of the market," he told the Lancashire Telegraph. "You want people interested in your players.
"I'm pretty sure, knowing the club now as I do, it would take a hell of a figure to get him to leave.
"You want interest in your players because that's usually a good sign that things are going well, and there are a lot of good things going on here.
"We've just got to make sure we keep that and turn it into results."
