Hibernian have revealed they have signed a trio of players on contract extensions.

On loan pair Leigh Griffiths and Ryan McGivern will remain at Easter Road until the end of the season.

And goalkeeper Sean Murdoch, who arrived at the club as a free agent in the summer, has also signed a deal which ties him to the cub until the end of the campaign.

Griffiths has become a favourite among the Hibs support during his loan from Wolves, scoring 14 times in the first half of the season.

And Manchester City defender McGivern has impressed in defence this term, while for Hamilton stopper Murdoch has performed well when called on by boss Pat Fenlon.

"Hibernian are pleased to confirm the loan stays of Leigh Griffiths and Ryan McGivern have been extended until the end of the season," a statement from Hibernian read.

"Goalkeeper Sean Murdoch has also extended his contract with the club until the end of the season."
