Sunderland midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady has returned to npower Championship promotion-chasers Hull on loan for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old Egypt international spent the first half of the campaign at the KC Stadium working under Steve Bruce, the manager who brought him to Wearside, but was recalled earlier this month.

Elmohamady was today allowed to return to Humberside following the Black Cats' £5million capture of Swansea striker Danny Graham.
