Nigel Adkins: Favourite again for the No

The betting has started in Sky Bet's next Nottingham Forest manager market after Alex McLeish's departure from the club on Tuesday morning.

Nigel Adkins is back as the 10/11 favourite to take the top job at the City Ground after Billy Davies had moved from 12/1 to 5/6 earlier in the day.

The former Forest boss is now 7/4 to return but he's the big favourite to become Blackpool manager with 1/5 the price on offer for the Scot to take over at Bloomfield Road.

In the Forest betting, Owen Coyle can be backed at 11/2 and Roy Keane is a 12/1 shot.

You can also get 16/1 for Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi to double up with the manager's job and that would be quite a story.

Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: "Will anyone want to work for Forest after yet another disastrous managerial split?

"The reason for McLeish's departure still seems unclear and whoever does take the post has a lot to do if he wants to achieve anything with Forest this season."
