Isco: Linked with move to England

Despite only just penning a new long-term contract, Isco admits he would leave Malaga if the club need to cash-in on him.

The 20-year-old Spain international penned his new deal at the end of January to put an end to speculation over a move, with Chelsea and Manchester City both strongly linked.

Isco insists he is more than happy at the club he joined in 2011 from Valencia.

"I'm not worried as I'm only thinking about being here," he told AS.

"If a team does come to pay a lot of money for me, it will definitely be a big club. Then, if it helps Malaga, I would have no problem in leaving if it was good for both of us."

Isco hailed the impact of Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini on his career.

"Pellegrini has been the most important person (for my career)," he said.

"I arrived here at 19 years of age, as an unknown, and he began to put me in game by game. He put all his confidence in me."

He also praised Spain boss Vicente del Bosque - who recently handed him his debut for his country.

"He is a very level-headed and calm person, he surprised me quite a bit," said Isco.

"When I went out on the pitch he told me not to be afraid, to do what I do for my team, to get involved and express myself. He gave me confidence and calmness."
