Ozkan Yildirim: Signed a new contract at

Germany U20 international Ozkan Yildirim has signed a new contract with Werder Bremen.

The midfield starlet's previous deal with the club was due to expire in June and he was linked with fellow Bundesliga outfits Hannover and Freiburg.

But a deal has been struck which will keep the 20-year-old at Weserstadion until June 2016.

He told the club's official website: "I am delighted that my future has been sorted out. I am looking forward to my next years at Werder Bremen. I hope everything will be better for us all next season.

"I have been with the club since the U11-team and I always had the desire to play regularly in the first team.

"I am living this dream. I want to progress further at this club."
