Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina would welcome a return to Barcelona next summer.
Sheffield Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric has confirmed Neil Warnock is on a five-man manager's shortlist.
Blackpool star Tom Ince has not yet had time to think about the possibility of joining Cardiff City, according to his father and manager, Paul.
The winger was on Tuesday understood to be having a medical with Premier League new-boys Cardiff after a reported transfer fee of £8million was agreed.
But Blackpool boss Paul says his son is still considering his options after returning from his summer break.
Ince senior said in the Blackpool Gazette: "Thomas knows he will play in the Premier League one day but there is no rush.
"He has said he is happy at Blackpool and really enjoys his football.
"He enjoys the people he plays with here and the way the fans allow him to express himself.
"Thomas only came back from holiday last week, so he has not had much time to think about the offer from Cardiff.
"If this move appeals to him, then we will talk about it and speak to everyone but he is comfortable at Blackpool."
