Jeremie Aliadiere confirmed he will stay at Lorient despite speculation linking him with a switch to Lyon this summer.

Jeremie Aliadiere: Content at Lorient

The 30-year-old former Arsenal and Middlesbrough striker told Le Telegramme he is delighted to have made a decision regarding his future.

And Aliadiere, who scored 19 goals for the Ligue 1 side last season, said: "My mind is clear. I'll stay in Lorient....I can't wait, (for me) the transfer window is over. "

It was reported that Aliadiere was in Lyon last weekend - which he denies - as he added: "It was not until my return (from London) that I learned through my agent and the president....I wonder who could say I was in Lyon?"
