Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are tracking highly-rated Carlisle United midfielder Brad Potts.
Sheffield United are planning to send Andy Butler back out on loan after seeing an agreement with Walsall collapse.
Blackpool are reportedly looking at the contract situation of Ince, as a host of clubs continue to be impressed by his performance at Bloomfield Road, which has seen him lose just five games since taking over the reigns nearly 30 matches ago.
The Tangerines - against most people's expectations - have emerged as one of the promotion favourites this term, despite having one of the lowest budgets in the Championship.
Ince is currently on a one-year rolling deal, but Blackpool are now looking at a long-term deal in order to fend off interest.
It is understood Sheffield United expressed an interest in Ince before appointing Nigel Clough - whilst one of Ince's former club's Middlesbrough are also said to be monitoring his situation following the sacking of Tony Mowbray.
Ince's representative Chris Nathaniel confirmed to Sky Sports that Blackpool had expressed an interest in looking at his deal.
"Paul is enjoying himself, but he loves hard work - that is what it is all about for him," Nathaniel told Sky Sports.
"We cannot say anything about the interest from elsewhere, suffice to say we are aware of it - but as it stands Paul is fully focused on his job at Blackpool, if opportunities arise about then clearly we will look at that - as anyone would."
