Barcelona will not be able to present Luis Suarez to the press and public when his transfer from Liverpool is complete.
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman says he needs time to evaluate the contract situations of Jack Cork and Jose Fonte.
Inverness captain Richie Foran has told chairman Kenny Cameron there is no panic over replacing Terry Butcher and Maurice Malpas.
Foran has been helping to take training after Butcher took assistant Malpas to Easter Road as the pair take on the challenge of improving Hibernian.
But Caley Thistle sit second in the Scottish Premiership and Foran does not feel they desperately need a replacement in the short term.
Foran told BBC Scotland: "It's not important to get someone in as quickly as possible.
"I spoke to the chairman and told him there's no rush. I've guaranteed him the boys will be working hard."
"There's no rush or panic - we'll take our time and I'm sure the board will take their time making a decision."
Foran worked under the management team at Motherwell as well as Caley Thistle but he refused to take their exit to heart.
"We're all a little bit sad - he was wonderful for us and we had huge trust in him and Maurice, but things move on and that's football," he said. "We're focused on the job ahead and the journey we're on."
The 33-year-old added: "The gaffer was a great motivator, but our players motivate themselves. It's not going to be a problem at all.
"We were given five days off, but we told them we didn't want it, we want to keep it going and we don't want any change.
"Yes, the boss is going to be missed, but we'll continue to strive for a good season."
