The 31-year-old right-back came through the youth system with Los Leones and is currently playing in his 11th professional season at the club.

"The Athletic Club and player Andoni Iraola have signed the renewal agreement whereby the player will remain with the red and white until June 30, 2015," read a statement on athletic-club.net.

Athletic sit fourth in the Primera Division table and Iraola played the full 90 minutes as they shocked Barcelona with a 1-0 triumph at the weekend.
