Frazer Wright: Staying at St Johnstone

St Johnstone have handed centre-half Frazer Wright a one-year extension to his contract, the club have announced.

The former Kilmarnock defender's deal with the Perth side was due to expire at the end of the season.

But Saints boss Tommy Wright has rewarded the 34-year-old with another 12-month agreement after watching him clock up 26 appearances so far this term.

A statement on the club's official website confirmed the deal, saying: "Frazer Wright has agreed a deal to remain with Saints next season.

"The experienced defender has been in discussions with the club about his contract which was due to expire at the end of the current season."
