But the Seasiders, who escaped relegation by two points, have confirmed a new contract has been offered to Inter Milan target Thomas Ince.

Midfielder Barry Ferguson, caretaker-boss following the departure of Paul Ince in January, heads an extensive list of players who will be leaving Bloomfield Road, with strikers Michael Chopra and Robert Earnshaw among them.

Louis Almond, Anderson Banvo, Kirk Broadfoot, Jake Caprice, James Caton, Adam Dodd, Nathan Eccleston, Elliot Grandin, Mark Halstead, Faris Haroun, Chris Kettings, Liam Tomsett, Nathan Tyson and Tony Warner are all looking for new clubs.

Blackpool have taken up the option of extending striker Tom Barkhuizen's contract and will open talks with eight other players - Chris Basham, Neal Bishop, Craig Cathcart, Ricardo Fuller, Matt Gilks, Angel Martinez, Tony McMahon and Isaiah Osbourne.
