Mark Robins: Waiting on answers from a n

One signing has already been wrapped up, with Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper Joe Murphy joining on a two-year deal at the end of his Coventry City contract.

The intention at the John Smith’s Stadium is that Murphy will be the first of many fresh faces welcomed through the doors before the 2014/15 campaign gets underway on August 9.

Robins says he is working hard to ensure that will be the case, but has called for patience as he chases down the signatures of a number of top targets.

He told the Huddersfield Examiner: “The market in general has been quiet, with a lot of people going away on holiday and many players coming to the end of their current contracts.

“We have done a lot of work on the recruitment side, and I’m confident things will start to fall into pace.

“But we will continue to be methodical in our approach, and with a budget to work to, it’s obviously important we get the right people on the right terms.

“We feel we have done that with Joe Murphy."
