COULD SUAREZ BE OFF?
Well, this was rather inevitable.

After the shenanigans at Old Trafford on Saturday, at least one paper was going to speculate that the Liverpool top brass have decided that Luis Suarez is more trouble than he's worth.

And it's The Daily Mirror who are first with this one, claiming that Suarez is 'heading for the Anfield exit after lying to his manager and undermining the club.'

The paper claims Suarez will face an internal disciplinary hearing after which he will be fined, but it might not stop there.

They report that Liverpool will most likely 'cut their losses and sell the striker in the summer, after the club made a complete U-turn on their previously staunch defence of the Uruguayan.'

The Daily Mail concurs, reporting that Suarez's future has been 'plunged into doubt' following the farrago.

So, who fancies a potentially brilliant striker who is more trouble than a bag of incredibly naughty cats who haven't been fed for a while?

SESSEGNON STAYING FOR NOW
The form of Sunderland's Stephane Sessegnon has been impressing most people blessed with a set of eyes this season, but he's not thinking of going anywhere just yet.

There's been talk of a move to Arsenal, but the man himself suggested he would do no such thing.

"Interest from some bigger English clubs? I don't think about that so far," Sessegnon told L'Equipe.

"Above all I am thinking to score and assist. We will talk about my future again at the end of the season."

VILLA IN FOR WALLACE
The gossip starts to really drop off now, so we must bring you a line from The Daily Mirror, who report that Aston Villa are in for Rangers left-back Lee Wallace.

He'll cost £2.5million, and our interest is waning even as we write this, so here's the rather meagre meat of the story:

'The Aston Villa boss wants Wallace, 24, to replace Stephen Warnock, who can leave the club at the end of season.

'Warnock, 30, could join his former Villa manager Martin O'Neill at Sunderland.'
