UNITED'S ZAHA BID TO BE REJECTED
This will go right to the end of the window, we suspect.

The Daily Express reports that Crystal Palace will reject Manchester United's initial bid for Wilfried Zaha, as they 'want more of the fee up front'.

Apparently United will offer an initial £6million, with the rest of the £12million fee in various instalments and add-ons, plus agreeing to loan Zaha back to them for the remainder of the season.

And this could be bad news for United, says The Express:

'Zaha is an Arsenal fan and the Gunners could follow up their interest in the player and pip United to his signature.'

MILAN IN FOR KRUL
Interesting line in The Daily Mail, who report that Tim Krul is a target for AC Milan.

The paper claims Milan have 'launched a £10million bid' to sign the Newcastle keeper, but the club would want around double that and are not keen on selling.

Especially with Fabricio Coloccini apparently keen to return home to Argentina, with Demba Ba leaving and after being gazumped by QPR for Loic Remy.

However, if he is sold then Jack Butland is their main target to replace him.

Meanwhile, The Daily Mirror says Milan want Davide Santon too.

COURTOIS WANTS TO STAY IN MADRID
Chelsea keeper Thibault Courtois sounds perfectly content on loan at Atletico Madrid.

"I am Chelsea player, but I am happy here," he told AS. "I'll have to see what is best for them but I would be very happy if I stayed here for another year.

"I still haven't spoken to Chelsea though. If I can't play for them, then Atletico is the best club I can be at.

"It would be important for me and the club to make the Champions League next season. I am very happy here."

SNEIJDER WON'T BE RUSHED
Wesley Sneijder still hasn't decided whether to go to Galatasaray or not. But his decision won't be about money.

"This is not about the money," Sneijder was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Like every player who could be on the move this window, I have to make a decision by January 31. I do not want to rush anything, and I don't like it how Inter have put pressure on me.

"I am almost being forced to make a rushed decision about my future at a crucial moment in my life. After all that's happened in the past few months, I feel that I do not deserve to be pressured like this."
