SUAREZ IN AT BAYERN
The People throws a grenade into a sh*tstorm with their big gossip this morning, reporting that Pep Guardiola will move for Luis Suarez when he takes over at Bayern Munich.

The paper claims Pep is a 'huge fan' of Suarez, and will chuck £40million Liverpool's way in the hope of getting his man.

And in one of those 'Not what you know...' moments, the paper also reports:

'Former Barca boss Guardiola also has a straight line into Suarez because his brother is the player's agent - and a price clause is known to him.'

Since barely any English journalists had the first idea about Guardiola's destination until it was announced, so are thus unlikely to have the inside track on his transfer targets six months before he even arrives, we're treating this one with due suspicion.

BARCA WANT REINA
The papers have been a little slow with the 2+2=5 stories about Pepe Reina going to Barcelona since Victor Valdes announced he wants to leave Cataluyna, but The Mail on Sunday steps up today.

They report: 'Barca believe Liverpool would consider a bid for Spain international Reina, with manager Brendan Rodgers aware that he will have to sell key players to raise money to rebuild the current side.

'Reina, 30, who missed yesterday's game against Norwich after having surgery to repair the broken nose he sustained against Manchester United last weekend, is considered the outstanding candidate by Barca because he was raised through the club's youth system, alongside Valdes.'

However, they go on to refer to 'Real Villarreal' so make of this one what you will.

TEVEZ WANTS OUT SOONISH
Carlos Tevez wants to leave Manchester City at the end of his contract, which runs out next year.

Details here.

NEW DEAL FOR COLE
If you missed it yesterday, it seems Ashley Cole is set to sign a new contract at Chelsea, despite all the papers and such informing us that he would definitely be leaving at the end of the season.

Info here.

WHERE WILL FRANK GO?
A few bits on Frank Lampard now, and where he might be going at the end of the season. For it seems he really is off.

The Sunday Express reports that he is on the verge of signing a contract with LA Galaxy, with the MLS champs keen to keep up their ageing Englishman winding down his career quota.

The paper says: 'Lampard, who has agreed in principle a deal believed to be for three years, is wanted by Galaxy for the start of the new MLS season in March.

'But Chelsea could insist on keeping the midfielder until the end of the current Premier League campaign in May.'

However, The Mail on Sunday suggests that could scupper his England career, which could throw a spanner in the works.

Meanwhile, The People reckons AC Milan are still keen.

CISSE TO QATAR
Breaking news - as we write it has been announced that Djibril Cisse has agreed a loan to Qatari side Al Gharafa.

There he joins former PSG man Nene, and ex Middlesbrough great Afonso Alves.
