'ARRY IN FOR CROUCH
Why on earth hasn't someone thought of this one before?

The Sun reports that Harry Redknapp's latest triffic transfer target is Mr Peter Crouch, the striker he has already signed three times before.

The paper reports that Redknapp wants Crouch 'to join his crusade against relegation'.

Few details on that one, but we can't really see Stoke letting the gangly one go.

SPURS MOVE FOR DAMIAO
Interesting line in The Daily Star, who report that Spurs are looking to solve what is probably the main deficiency in their squad by signing a striker.

Specifically Leandro Damiao, who they seem to have been chasing since the dawn of time.

Andre Villas-Boas said it was 'very unlikely' that Spurs would sign Damiao earlier this month, and this week said not buying a striker was a 'risk he was willing to take'.

However, The Star still reckons that they could move before Thursday, and could offer a package with cash and goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, worth something like £20million, to get their man.

And if they don't, Sevilla's Alvaro Negredo is Plan B, apparently.

SUAREZ TO BAYERN, AGAIN
This is a story that has been knocking around for a while, but The Independent reports that Luis Suarez is a target for Bayern Munich when Pep Guardiola arrives in the summer.

They do seem to be basing this on a L'Equipe story that claims Pep will be given something like £240million to spend in the summer, and he could move for Suarez and/or Radamel Falcao.

The paper claims it's 'unlikely' that Suarez would be allowed to leave for 'anything less than £40million'. He has a contract at Liverpool until 2018.

HOOPER IN, HOLT OUT?
Interesting one in The Guardian, who report that if Norwich do actually manage to sign a striker this month, they will let the only other one they really have leave.

The paper claims that if they sign either/both of Gary Hooper from Celtic or Ricky van Wolfswinkel from Sporting Lisbon, then Grant Holt will be allowed to leave.

Sunderland, Celtic and Aston Villa are potential destinations.

The Guardian reports: 'The 31-year-old has not been suited to Hughton's favoured 4-5-1 formation and, with his family having now moved back to Cumbria, he may be open to a transfer.'
