Chelsea want to hi-jack United's Ronaldo move, Julio Cesar to Arsenal, Reina top of Barca's list, Weimann may go and...
RONALDO IN, RONALDO NOT?
Who do you believe on this one? Both The Sun and Sir Alex Ferguson have a reputation for...shall we say...not always being 100% reliable in what they say.
So we present to you the two options and ask you to choose.
The Sun on Sunday reports that Cristiano Ronaldo is 'willing to take a massive pay cut to sensationally rejoin Manchester United.'
According to the paper, PSG want him, but 'United have already made contact with his representatives about a possible return and know the player is considering it.'
However, Ferguson said: "There hasn't been anything to encourage me to think Cristiano would come back here.
"As far as I am aware, there is nothing in it at all. Ronaldo has got two years left on his contract and it seems to me it is all part of the negotiations that are going on about a new deal.
"Maybe his agent is playing the game. I think it is false hope. Cristiano will get a good reception. All our former players, especially the ones who have been great for this club, get a good reception when they return."
Your call.
CITY IN FOR HIGUAIN, LEWANDOWSKI AND...
It seems Manchester City are set for a bit of an overhaul this summer, and The Sunday Mirror seems to think it will start up front.
The paper claims City will make moves for both Gonzalo Higuain and Robert Lewandowski, as slightly more affordable alternatives to Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani.
However, perhaps more interesting is the following passage:
'...the Premier League champions are also looking to bring former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba back to England from Juventus in a move that will infuriate Sir Alex Ferguson.'
Interesting.
LLORIS FOR BARCA?
A line in a couple of papers suggests that Hugo Lloris is attracting some attention.
Both The People and The Daily Star Sunday report that Barcelona are looking at Lloris as a potential replacement for Victor Valdes, who is set to leave this summer.
Again, interesting.
DON FABIO FOR CHELSEA?
Well, well, well.
The Sunday Mirror reports this morning that Chelsea, who just about still have a manager, are considering Fabio Capello as a replacement for Rafa Benitez.
Apparently they think Capello can manage Chelsea for the rest of the season at the same time as being Russia boss, because they only have two games and it won't impact on his current responsibilities.
At least we know he'll pick John Terry every week.
The Sunday Telegraph claims Benitez will stay for the rest of the season, whereas The Sunday Express reckons Guus Hiddink may come back.
