Not often I agree with a Gooner, Hincey but about 98% of newspaper chat is total cr*p. Not worth paying attention until you see them holding the new shirt or in a press conference with their new contract. Boring.

There seem to e bi-annual events in football. Chelsea change managers and the lower grade sports writers regurgitate this Rooney story. Keano81, why bear the name of a quisling?

This is the same Jenkinson that gets roasted by any left winger whenever he plays, the Jenkinson that keeps getting booked then commits the same foul to get sent off. The Jenkinson that passes to anyone in a different colour shirt to him, that one. Oh ok then, that will be £40 million please.

Rooney won't leave, top player for United for years to come. It's just a bit of tabloid sales fodder.

Rooney would have offered more than RVP, maybe. Giggs was phenomenal. Good old Levy, I hope he rinses Real for every penny of that £60m

No, I agree, Fergie is desperate to weaken his squad. What with Shcoles and Giggs literally ont the last months/years of their careers and with the competition for decent players at an all time high it make perfect sense for them to sell their second best player.
